Note: Cordless phone batteries generally last 1-3 years with normal use. Cordless phone batteries are typically NiCad or NiMH. While memory issues may develop with NiCad batteries you can reduce the memory problems in your cordless phone battery by fully charging and discharging several times. The best way to do this is to use or leave your cordless phone off the base unit until it's dead. Then fully charge again. After a couple of times doing this you should regain some of the capacity lost to 'memory' problems
