This battery replaces the HC1225W. It has the same dimensions, but has a higher wattage (and amp hour) rating. This means longer use per charge.
The HC1228W is specially designed for high efficient discharge applications. Its invisible terminal can be inserted into a PC board directly. HC series batteries can serve more than 260 cycles at 100% discharge in cycle service, or three to five years in standby service.
