Note: remote control batteries generally last 1-3 years with normal use. remote control batteries are typically NiCad or NiMH.
While memory issues may develop with NiCad batteries you can reduce the memory problems in your remote control battery by
fully charging and discharging several times. The best way to do this is to use or leave your remote control off the base unit
until it's dead. Then fully charge again. After a couple of times doing this you should regain some of the capacity lost to 'memory'
problems
Please recycle your old remote control batteries. NiCad and NiMH batteries are considered hazardous to the environment and they are able
